The Coaching Core ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.
This Cookie Policy explains what they are, which ones we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
The Coaching Core is a trading name of Sam Clarke, an independent sole trader operating in the United Kingdom. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy - link
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website work, remember your choices, and, where you agree, measure how our advertising performs.
We also use a similar technology called a pixel: a small piece of code that sends information about your visit to a third party. In this policy, "cookies" includes pixels and similar technologies.
2. How we use cookies
Essential Cookies:
These are necessary for our website, forms, booking calendars, and checkout to function and to remember your cookie preferences. These do not require your consent.
Analytics Cookies:
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and how people find us. These cookies are only set if you consent.
Advertising Cookies:
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure our advertising and help Meta deliver and optimise our ads. The Pixel's cookies are only set if you consent (see Section 4).
We do not allow other advertisers to place cookies on our website.
3. Cookies we use
Below is a list of the cookies currently set on our website, grouped by type.
Essential cookies. These are needed for the website to work and do not require your consent. __cf_bm is set by Cloudflare, via our hosting platform, HighLevel, to protect the site from bots and malicious traffic, and lasts 30 minutes. cookie-config is set by us to remember your cookie choices and lasts about one month. msgsndr_id is set by HighLevel as an anonymous visitor ID that helps our forms, booking calendars and chat tools work, and lasts one year.
Analytics cookies. These are only set if you consent. _ga and _ga_91CZG6XDY5 are set by Google Analytics to tell visitors apart and maintain your session, so we can understand how people use our website. Both last two years.
Advertising cookies. These are only set if you consent. _fbp is set by Meta to identify your browser so Meta can measure how our ads perform, and lasts 90 days. _fbc is set by Meta to record which ad click, if any, brought you to our website, and also lasts 90 days.
4. Meta Pixel and Conversion API
Meta Pixel. The Pixel is a small piece of code on our website. If you consent to advertising cookies, it tells Meta when you visit our pages or take an action, such as submitting an enquiry or booking a call. Meta uses this to measure our ads, show them to relevant people, and match your visit to your Facebook or Instagram account. If you complete a form, the Pixel may also pass Meta certain details you enter (such as your email address or name). These are hashed, meaning scrambled, before they are sent.
Conversions API. We also use Meta's Conversions API. Instead of going through your browser, this sends information directly from our systems (HighLevel) to Meta's servers. When you submit an enquiry, book a call or make a purchase, we may send Meta a record of that event. It can include the type of event, its value, an ad click identifier (if you arrived via a Meta ad) and information that helps Meta match the event to your account. This helps us measure our advertising accurately where browser tracking is limited, for example, by privacy settings or ad blockers. We only do this where you have agreed to advertising cookies.
Meta also uses this data for its own purposes as an independent controller. See Meta's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
Our lawful basis for Pixel and Conversions API is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see Section 5).
5. Your choices and consent
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the cookie settings on our website. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of our website may not work properly as a result.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
You can manage how Meta uses your data for ads at: https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of our website, such as forms or checkout, from working.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we start using new tools.
The most recent version will always be available at https://thecoachingcore.com/cookie-policy with the latest update date shown above. If we introduce new non-essential technologies or materially change the purposes for which we use existing technologies, we will ask for fresh consent where required.
